Our goal is a long term co-operation with our co-operating partners with conditions that are mutually beneficial and to take a leading market share based on quality that has been refined to perfection.
MISSION
Our mission is to manufacture organic high quality fish products.
With its own fishing fleet the company offers a continuous supply of fresh fish for both production as well as for refinery. The company uses the newest methods and techniques, and has invested in one of the best automatic devices for its factory, given guidance for fishing professionals on fishing as well as for stockpiling and continued refinement.
DGM Shipping is a FDA and HACCP certified company. This speaks of quality assurance, the safety of all products, following all the European regulations as well as managing the production process at all its stages.
SINCE 1994
More than 200 tonnes of sprat and Baltic herring products are made in a month.
We produce 6 tonnes of herring and 12 tonnes of sprat in 24 hours.
We can produce an immense amount of products, because we are not dependent on outside factors.

The company was established in 1994
1995
First own fishing vessel called Kilts was purchased
2002
1.5 ha of production land was taken into use near Tallinn in Maardu
2004
The first part of the production line started operating, started selling frozen fish to Russia

We started selling products in shop chains

We developed full automated machinery for making sprat
fillets in co-operation with a Dutch company

At that moment we had two fishing vessels of our own, Rossvik and Viru
DIOXINS IN BALTIC SEA FISH
Baltic sea is fully surrounded by land and connected to the North Sea only trough very small passages. For this closed water system to be fully recycled it takes years. Simultaneously at the coast of the Baltic Sea there are 14 large countries, that have sizable production by the sea.
Dioxin samples were collected from the Baltic Sea fish and as a result of the research, it was noticed that the larger the fish is in size, or the older the fish is, the more it contains.

WASTE FREE PRODUCTION
- We maintain all of our machines ourselves and we have learned to make spare parts ourselves so that we wouldn’t need to order them. We do not need outside help in making or maintenance of the machinery. So we are not dependent on others.
For the production we use only fresh fish, we do not use frozen raw materials.
Because we salt the fish only after cutting it, all the trash (heads, guts) will be recycled – for example in making flour and animal feed

In our product there is a harmonious combination of traditional sprat that s a part of our culture and an oriental sauce, which creates incredible taste sensations and encourages even those who have not previously eaten fish to take a piece.

We used a traditional marinade recipe that grandmothers used. This is the best possible combination of vegetables and spices, that enriches and perfects the taste of food, without covering up the perfect taste of the fish.

We used the classical tomato sauce in order to create the well known and loved taste that everyone craves from their childhood. This product is one of our all time favourites.
MILDLY SALTED ANCHOVY
MILDLY SALTED ANCHOVY
Smooth pinkish fillet of anchovy with vegetable oil and a mixture of herbs and spices is different from the rest because of its piquant taste. It is not used as a seasoning or additive for preparing recipes. Instead, it is used separately as an independent food or snack thanks to its low sodium and balanced taste.

In the Moscow international food exhibition ”Prodexpo 2015” Briis Brisling won the GRAND PRIX award.
